Good Evening: Just a few thoughts. Feel free to push next if you wish as my rambling is only my opinion about where I feel my investment in FTEL is going, not where it has been. Thought 1) My opinion is that FTEL management along with many investors got absolutely blindsided by the converters. Shorting of the stock was the last thing most investors or others involved in the s-1 anticipated. Thought 2) My opinion is that FTEL management IS concerned about the well being of their shareholders. Their concern is genuine. I have visited with employees of FTEL, by phone and yes they did talk to me. I believe they believe that building this Company into a first class International Telco is a very distinct possibility. Thought 3) My opinion is that FTEL/FNET began becoming the Company that Mr. Peters is dreaming of when he turned over the day to day management of both FTEL and FNET to separate CEO's and became Chairman. I say this with no disrespect to Mr. Peters. Perhaps the visionary needs to direct and the management needs to act. Thought 4) I have read many comments on many threads on SI. The internet has given us the ability to scrutinize each and every move of Companies we are involved in. Click the send button and we can ask a question by E-Mail, call an 800 number and talk with management, read the thread, SEC filings, visit web pages and be all knowing about the Co. and go undercover with aliases and criticize people we do not know. Look at other boards of BB stocks and the same things arise. IE: management won't return my calls. IE: when is the company going to send out a press release. IE: The company is a fraud. Different people posting than on the FTEL thread but the same questions and thoughts we read on this thread. Thought 5) Perhaps some of us were drawn into this stock because of perceived hype from the thread and visions of instant gratification and big bucks were dancing in our heads. If that is the case then being here is our fault, NO ONE ELSES. To throw blame and flame is BS. Thought 6) I have been involved for two years, a short timer. I have watched the good, the bad and the ugly. However, I feel that FTEL management has also learned from many of the mistakes they made in growing this telco. I would be willing to make a small wager that when, and if, Sutro puts together a PP for FNET the terms and conditions will be vastly different than the PP for FTEL. I also believe when the company talks, it will now be with something of substance, not fluff. I have appreciated many of the posters to the FTEL SI thread and would love to see the return of some of the old timers, be it here or on raging bull. Last but not least: There are certain things that management cannot come on the board and tell us. Re-read Mr. Peters message of September 18. I am not sure, but feel SEC would probably look at an SI board as insider information if news was released just on this thread. However, I am sure the SEC does not mind someone letting us know that Helen was enjoying a pizza. Perhaps we should put our egos to rest just because we do not have a phone call returned at our convenience. Those folks are working their butts off and I really do not feel that they are at our beck and call. I am back to lurking. Hope we can see an upward trend soon as after tomorrow morning my ownership of FTEL will have been increased.
