Zvi Quick Recap of AGM: CB outlined 3 major thrusts 1. Deliver products on time Product management and marketing functions to be added/improved. (Laurie Harvey new director Marketing(email lharvey@plaintree.com) New engineering management structure. Increased software design Shift to purchase silicon components 2. New product Introduce this year (assume calendar)-wouldnt give any details. New marketing and distribution options being looked at eg. selling products over internet. Spoke about NT - focus on WAN. Builds on Plaintree network values/endorses the technology. 3. Build shareholder value Improve communications, marketing, PR, IR. Lower cost structure. Innovative marketing techniques Mentioned some local firms (marketing companies?) - Hewsen Bridge and Smith, Non Linear Creations, High Road Creations. Some questions asked 1. Cash situation - will be looking at options (B Walter role in part). Hopeful that cash generated from upcoming q operations will aid the cash flow situation. 2. Justification of performance bonuses last year - CB responded that future bonuses Will be performance based and that they are looking at remuneration plans. 3. Share price - CB is certainly unhappy with this. He bought 25,000 recently. 4. Current Q#'s: dont expect anything great (as if we did!). Expecting to breakeven by mid 1999. IMO, if anyone can pull the turnaround off, CB is the one. PS Laurie Harvey tells me that the slides used will be on the www site. Regards
