Tony, I don't think the company saw it coming. I do blame them but I don't think it's a case of deceit but a case of ignorance. They should have a better handle on their sales so last minute "surprises" don't screw up a whole quarter.

I don't blame you for being pissed though. I think the company was just as worried about this quarter as the rest of us were. I think they feel that since the company already gets no respect that they shouldn't convey that worried feeling. It doesn't hurt to be honest about that worry. Even Microsoft and Intel do this when they aren't sure.

Ballard, if you are reading this, honesty is always the best policy. It builds trust with analysts, retail investors, and consumers. Sure sometimes you may take a hit for your honesty but think of it this way

....at least you aren't Nvidia.
