Haven't commodity price been decreasing for quite a while? That's nothing new is it?

Kenneth

Japan did not have baby boomers. Something to consider is the spending power of the almighty American baby boomer generation. When rates go lower and they refinance and see those car rebates, home improvement sales, and cheap technology LOOK OUT!!!

Eactly. Lowering the interest rate is just lowering the cost of money. DEFLATION. It will not spur economic growth this time.

ken--

that assumes the cheaper money will be used to increase real economic activity. i dont think it will...i think its heading toward speculation in the market.

if the fed doesnt move by 50 basis points on tuesday we can expect a pretty nice sell off. if they dont move at all, i am thinking -500.

good luck to all,
trey
