Dollar drops to 17-mth lows on U.S. banking concerns
LONDON, Sept 25 (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar set fresh 17 month lows in morning Europe against the mark on Friday after a multi-billion dollar bailout of a U.S. hedge fund aroused fears of American bank exposure to emerging markets turmoil.

''People are realising the American banks are more exposed than they had thought and that is hurting the dollar,'' said Jeffrey Woodruff, currency strategist at Bank of Boston.

I think the strategy to invoke at this time is very obvious. When the FED steps up and tells the chosen few to bail this bunch of hedge fund morons out, you know what's coming. They just bought a little time, nothing more.
