A quick note: I posted yesterday that I dumped most of my shares in DGIV yesterday as I the feeling that something is not quite right was too strong to ignore. I hope to be proved wrong.

Anyway, Bob Cummings returned my phone call last night and we had an informative conversation. Bob Dunagan is handling the booth at NY, he is the sales manager for DGIV and is a typical fast talking salesman.
He is defintely not up to speed on the foreign markets that represent
DGIV's agressive business plan. Bob confirmed that the contracts that
they are negotiating are indeed .30/min revenue generators not .02/min. contracts. Bob said, no doubt the economic instabilty in Indonesia and Russia (really the world over) has delayed negotiations
and finalization of contracts. But the fact remains that these countries are very interested in DGIV's services and are in the process of converting to IP telephony to lower their costs of providing long distance services. DGIV greatly lowers the cost of service and DGIV and the joint venture partner basically split the cost savings and then can still pass on cheaper rates to the consumer.
Remember the Louis International contract that was supposed to provied DGVI with $1 mil. per month revenues. According to Bob, that contract is being negotiated next week and he thinks will realistically be even larger than that, and could start in the next quarter. Bob has personally bought DGIV shares as have all DGIV employees. JC and family still own $10 mil. shares, no one assoc. with DGIV has sold a share.

The acquisition we have heard all the rumors about has nearly happened several times with a couple different NASDAQ companies. Bob Cummings area of expertise is supposedly in this area of deal making. They are still close to doing a deal, but it must be beneficial to DGIV, not just any old business merger.

I asked Bob about his $70 mil. revenue projection for '99. He says that he sees them coming in anywhere from $40 to $80 mil. next year.
Of course, it's difficult to tell with so many deals in a state of
flux. But, the opportunites are there, and JC is all over them. Whether he can pull it all together is the market's big worry. I, personally will step aside and wait until the picture gets a little clearer. The story acording to DGIV still sounds the same, it's just that the stock price doesn't agree.

Good luck to all

Mark
