Thanks to Super Express, Datek is a much more viable day trading option than it otherwise would be.

I think you'll eventually see an integrated order entry system at Datek, based on their streamer technology. Emphasis on the eventually.

Jon, I think if you trade enough to really *need* a tradestation like RT3, Stockedge or similar, you might as well go with an operation like MBT. The full whack (L2 etc) is free with 50+ trades per month. That is only about two trades per day which, if you daytrade, is next to nothing. I have nothing negative to say about their feed either; in fact, I've used SE Online for a few months and found it far buggier and with many more fallout's than MBTs.

I think now that Dateks streamer finally has erupted it will probably fill most people's need for RT quotes.

Personally it is my experience that although I have some big win-days where I'm up 20-30% I have just as many down-days with losses in the same class. On balance I feel that I averaged quite a lot better position trading, entering/adjusting my stop-losses each morning and for the rest leaving well enough alone. And it gave me time to actually see my family as well ;-)
