Numbers look ok. Just that. Compared to previous quarterly statements they look better. Does this mean Corel will be a high flyer or they just bought some time. An 8 million profit goes a little way to pay off the quarter billion loss sustained in 97.

Numbers have proven to be just that. I figure they are either inaccurate or just plain not accurate. Cowpies statements in the past were not reflective of actual performance and always contained some one time charge of sort. This quarter is no different from them. Always attempting to analyze what they did do operationally.
Opperational positives being lost to Management negatives means dick.

An audited statement showing correct numbers without stuffing and skeletons in the closet with any profit is reason to HOLD the stock.

Hype about future products and what they might do in this industry is an excuse to burn your investment dollars.

Corel has good products sold to mainly users on a bad operating system. I love my WP8 with dragoon. I love my Photopaint and Draw.
I hate the operating system (DOS) and will continue to use MAC based leaders like quark, Illustrator & Photoshop.

Corel would be a killer Company if MS did not be what they are.

Thats good enough reason to stand in the sidelines.
