This is MY rumor. How about Intel buys 3com and keep the Nics/Modem/Hubs business and sell the high-end corebuilder/remote access business to Lucent. Or vice-versa. It's so crazy what Intel is doing right now, cutting so much on price to gain market share.

Fudamentally -- WITHOUT the rumors -- COMS may NOW be roughly a 39 dollar stock. I'm using next year's $1.30 earnings and a 30% growth rate as very rough guideposts. Use your own judgement.
