The Montreal Gazette carried an article today announcing that Peerless was being bought out at 3.1 per share. I am rather new to investing and I saw that today Peerless was trading at 2.9/share.How long will it take for the 3.1 price to be paid to shareholders, and in the meantime can one expect to get more than todays price on the market?
Thanks for your help.

Now I'm going with mr.Racine on IPL inc., is paying 13.50 so monday
I will try to get some. This guy seem to never lost his money. They
accepted this deal because of all the problems they had to fight. If
you don't need money take a chance and keep your shares till 23 of
October, never know if someone else can offer more. I sold at 2.90 today because I needed money. I'm happy to have sold almost all my shares at 3.50 few months ago. Just thinking about those people who paid 3.80. When your are doing profit take your money back. R.H.
