Mike, re: LTC bailout the line about if the mkt does what they expect they may recover some money VBG it was their mistaken expectations that created the mess to begin with. LTC should be closely watched because in their present situation they may be tempted to take a huge gamble on a long shot. If the Fed wants to be assured that LTC pulls out of this they could let them in on some secrets -if it were not illegal -g-I think Jimmy Rogers suggested that the Fed may have been fearful that other would be taken down I would agree. In my opinion this action sets a terrible precedent and encourages reckless speculation. We witnessed the S&L mess which set the ground work for AG's easy money policy and created a bigger mess -the stk mkt bubble. Mike
