Why is this a "warning" to shorters? It's not illegal to short. Is this a threat? Are you suggesting that companies should bring lawsuits that have no merit against people whose only "offense" is shorting their stock? It's also not illegal to "bash", as long as what is being said is either the truth or opinion - say, one's opinion of the future direction of the stock, which is anybody's guess. Are some people untruthful? Yup, an equal number on the long and short side, I'd venture to guess. Is that illegal? Yup, if it damages somebody. Are their brokers that are on here giving out advice, and not making the required disclosures? Yup. Is that illegal? Yup. What is YOUR reason for using an alias, "FlatTaxMan"?
