William,

Bought EBAY this A.M. at $43 and change and happy to see that you have bought! Really a neat website and will use it also, unlike some that I have visited! What are your reasons for buying EBAY?

Hank

The company I work for (SONY) is implementing Oracle here in the US, but both Asia and Europe are implementing SAP. Oracle is big in the US but SAP is big in the rest of the world. People I have talked to say that SAP is better but more difficult than Oracle to implement. If SAP can improve user friendliness they will have a strong competitive edge. BTW: MSFT is probably using SAP so they don't have to use Oracle not necessarily because it is what they want - LOL

>> [SAP] Growth in Japan is 60%+, even in that environment.

I just got jumped on by someone who knows SAP far better than me and has fresher information who told me that Japan disappointed earlier this year but seems to be improving since.

Thanks Bill and others very much for in-depth analysis on Sap. I just placed an order(GTC) to write three Nov 40 put contracts and asking $6 premium. It's traded at $4 1/2 premium.

I am comfortable writting puts for L-T value accumulations, did well on Amat and others lately.

Now, what to do with Amzn today? Are you still holding both Amzn/yhoo?
