The biggest SI endorsement for DELL is not the cheerleading noise posted on the DELL thread, but the fact that Michael Burke will not buy puts on DELL yet. The fella holds puts on IBM and CPQ, I believe he cashed out of HWP long ago making out like a bandit.

dennis,

Any bear of DELL for the last 3 yrs is bankrupt.. period..

I think the same as you, but I cannot afford the price to hold, thus I play options. And I guess you might call it bad luck, but the times I have had DELL options the stock seems to stall, even when I have gone out 3 or 4 months. There is so much premium in their options going out long that it takes a larger move to make money.

The prudent option play for DELL is a leap at the strike when you buy it. Spend the 2 grand and buy it right. That is what some have done and are happy.

I think we will see our price dennis, although the 50's are looking a mile away arent they?

I have a MSFT option that has been doing great, but if it had been placed in DELL at the same time and position, it would be worth alot more. DELL's PE might be high, but it is growing at a faster clip than MSFT so even though the price moves so fast the PE stays in a relative range.

Expect 50% revenue growth again this quarter..
