Rushdie, as before, will be banned by British Airways
Fatwa, no Fatwa, Salman Rushdie is not welcome aboard British Airways. Salman is still keeping an eye in all directions for any deranged lone would-be killer. He is happy that his not-so-well-off fellow writers and friends did not turn him in for a princely (or measly) $2Million.
Now that money is not the motive, a deranged or a religious nut is the one to look out far. But how do you look out for such a nut?

Clinton Administration and CTBT
Clinton administration took the sting of Kashmir out of the equation in the sense US is not demanding settlement of Kashmir issue with pakistan. India and Pakistan will sign CTBT. Clinton has problems with Republicans on the ratification of the treaty in the senate.
