I agree. For Chambers to sell his company to INTC is like deciding that he wants his options to be worth a helluva lot less than they could be worth if Cisco remained independent. Cisco will have $25 billion in revenues within 5 years. That will make them almost the size of Intel. If they are acquired by Intel, whose to say that they can continue that kind of growth. Not likely. An Intel purchase of Cisco is not even remotely likely, especially after the initiation of the poison pill provisions that Cisco has put in place.

All this talk of INTC buying CSCO has made me check market caps.

In doing so I just noticed that CSCO surpassed LU in market cap !!
