Mr. Fred Hewett reports NDT Ventures has been notified by Donner Minerals that drilling has resumed in the South Voisey's Bay project in Labrador. Drilling was halted in early August in order that surface PEM geophysical surveys could be completed over large areas of the favourable gabbro. The PEM survey, which is 55 per cent complete, continues to be carried out over the core area of both the north and south gabbros. Following a final interpretation of the PEM survey on NDT's Project 79, a decision regarding additional drilling will be made. During late July, Donner deepened a 1997 drill hole from 392 metres to 713 metres on Project 79. This hole remained in gneiss for the 392-metre length. After consultation with Donner, NDT and two of its joint venture partners, Oromin Exploration and Layfield Resources, agreed to drill up to three holes adjacent to the suture zone on two separate projects approximately 18km east of Project 79. Project 78 (50 per cent Donner, 25 per cent NDT, 25 per cent Oromin) and Project 77 (50 per cent Donner, 25 per cent NDT, 25 per cent Layfield) are strategically positioned over the geologically important suture zone, which is a major geological boundary separating the Nain and Churchill geological provinces. These widely spaced holes will test the extent of the favourable gabbro, which has been recently identified and mapped on both sides of the suture. This mantle tapping structure is a key ingredient in the location of the major nickel-copper-cobalt deposits at Voisey's Bay. The South Voisey's Bay project straddles the north-south striking suture for a distance of 35km of which 18km is covered by the two NDT/Oromin/Layfield projects which are joint ventured with Donner.

Hi JP, Your heart and thoughts may be in the right place, but a little common sense would be nice. (The US buck and gold are moving
hand in hand) Gold stocks have done well, because their gold was sold in US $. As the US $ shrinks so do the profits of the G mining comp's! (and other commodities)
(correct me please!)

I mentioned the Clinton Chronicles about a year ago. (They were old
when I viewed them) Bill is old news either way! (he doesn't make any
difference).
