Regarding GLFD.... thanks, very interesting. I've thought that a dream merger would be NRGN and SIBI, two BVF companies. Jim Silverman throws in GLFD.

So.... I'd merge NRGN, GLFD and SIBI, then I'd sell the whole caboodle to MLNM as Millennium Neuro Sciences.

Chance of it happening? Not one, but it's fun to dream. I'm tired of great science languishing for lack of a manager or money.

GLFD filed a revision of their rights offering a couple of days ago. Seems like minor revisions, based on a new Board structure. Nonetheless, it shows attention to it.

Obligatory comments that are sort of on topic..... note from the 10/12 issue of F-D-C Reports (The Pink Sheet).....

"Disputing cynicism about the impact of genomics, Ringrose reported that almost 60% 'of the targets that we have at Bristol-Myers Squibb now come from genomic databases'."

Peter Ringrose is President of BMS PRI.
