Dennis, technically I am not sure what Favors sees that convinces him that DOW 7000 is definitely in the cards. John Murphy makes the same projection, but Murphy is wrong as often as he is right.

One cannot make such a statement until DOW 7400 is retested and either holds or breaks. My estimate of the downside limit is SPY 900 which I have been told is equivalent to DOW 7200. We will know that the bottom has been set when the bellweathers holding the market up capitulates. Key bellweathers are listed in my post, long them whenever the market turns up. Short them with caution.
