I couldn't agree more, Don. The Fed will cut rates because they are terrified of a bank meltdown. Is that a good reason to buy financials?

As I said, I wouldn't fight the Fed. But having said that, I'm still cautious on possible fallout next month. If my memory is correct, Russia has huge payment due (~20B) by mid November. My guess is IMF will try to bail out, otherwise the default will send another shock wave to the world equity market. Look out!
