And don't forget IBM!! Yeah, the way the analysts paint it, there is Michael Dell, standing at the Red Sea. With a quick click of the Dell mouse, (uh, make that the Microsoft Intellimouse), the sea parts and Mikey starts driving those servers through!!! I think some of this is due to momentum. I remember IBM building factories in the early 80's in anticipation of 100B years to come. I remember Intel soaring like there was no tommorrow a couple years back on Pentium demand. Then, both companies got hit with a bit more competition and some 'market' surprises. Dell has picked it's spots very well so far, it will be interesting to see how far up the enterprise chain they push, and how they attempt to do it...
