I purchased gold call on gold futures the symbol for 380's of 5/00 is
GCM0. I'm not really sure what exchage it trades on. My account is with Lind-Waldock & Company and I consider these options as disaster insurance.

A favorite gold stock is FCX (Freeport) pfd. There's a dividend payable at maturity 2003 or 2006 (depending on issue)the equivalent of
1/10 th oz of gold. Also they pay a qtrly dividend of around based on gold price. FCX also has a convertible issue and silver issue that pays 1/2 oz silver per year starting in 1999. The only draw back is that Freeport is in Indonesia.
