Skeeter, as mr. used to say do not bet against this multibllion dollar company. It boggles the mind the way they can run this stock nothing changes my opinion that Dram will be a money loser for the forseeable future. This situation will be aggravated by global recession. I am a forever bear on MU but I keep away from it having received much tough love from the Micron bulls. Everytime the bears seem to have the bulls cornered they come up with some red herring microstamp, production cut backs by competitors, Dram prices firming, forecasts of memory shortages, The TI deal, Intel? . Just when you think Micron has no more rabbits to pull out of the hat boom. Skeeter, I commend you tenacity with micron and I absolutely agree with the bears but this stock is unreal. Mike

Skeets, It is the Mormon Mafia showing its true colors. You are right about the hype. I was wondering what could both make Micron go higher and eat up more of Intel's cash. Have you ever noticed that MU always has a spectacular announcement just before reporting horrible eps? <G>

Intel's stated reasoning is total crap. They need a reliable source of DRAM???????? Good lord, check the local warehouses near Samsung, MU, or NEC fabs. It is not like this stuff is in short supply.

The billion dollars, if spent on expansion, works right into the bear case. Another stupid move to add capacity to the glut.

But I would love to see this dog go to the mid-40s on the news. Still have only a leftover third of Oct 20s, so I am ready to load up for another ride down.
