The Consolidated Space Operations Contract (CSOC)is valued at more than $3 billion over 10 years. The Integrated Operations Architecture (IOA) which Lockheed Martin will implement for NASA on CSOC will provide the agency with an infrastructure for space operations in the 21st century. Working in partnership with NASA, Lockheed Martin and its commercial teammates will leverage the rapidly advancing state of communications and data system technologies to consolidate and streamline NASA's space operations architecture. The integrated, Internet-Protocol-based IOA will increase performance and functionality while decreasing the operations and sustaining costs. With NASA, Lockheed Martin will move space operations to a commercial based structure, increasing its use by commercial customers, while ensuring mission success.
