Only traders I know who work are 3 doctor friends, one attorney, and one guy who owns 3 cellular retail shops. The latter has a 52 inch screen TV in his store in Boca tuned to CNBC and a Bloomberg terminal as well. They have really profitable professions and don't follow the daily grind, nor do they have any supervisors above them. The other traders have chucked their 9to5 jobs because they were making much more money trading than working. It takes a few years but it's well worth it.
