Personally I liked Dan, but his leaving has no impact on the stock. He was the IR guy. Seems like Chris Cline took over that job, at least temporarily. For anyone who doesn't know ACTV's phone number it's 1-(212) 262-2570 (New York City).

>>Dan Mahoney was only the IR guy, correct?
If that's the case-so what?<<

Yes he was the "IR guy" but my understanding is that he brought other "intangibles" to the position as well.

Dan was always clear with me. Having said that, what I understood from my conversation with Chris Cline is that there was a management problem as to how he functioned in his position. Mr Samuels wants things done his way...and as far as I am concerned that is understandable...and Dan saw things differently. Happens all the time.

In general, I happen to like what Mr Samuels has been doing/is doing with the company, and I am comfortable with this change and restructuring of IR to Chris Cline and Bratskeir & Company's Mike Rosen, 212/679-2233, x213

One final thought, and I emphasize that this is PURELY MY OWN SPECULATION and I have not heard this from anyone: some of the source of the stock yesterday MIGHT have been Mr. Mahoney liquidating his position in the company. He had a position, and maybe still does. I have no way of knowing whether he liquidated or not. If he has done so, so far as I am concerned, doing so is understandable as well (this is the real world and people do what they need to do).

I think Mr. Mahoney's departure is just a little bump in the road for ACTV.

All offered IMHO,

Ed
