M[], I dunno. You better check with BLS before you make such a statement. I would tend to think current income would include not only total gross (catches the employee part of the 401(k)), but all employee benefits, also (which would get the employer part of the 401(k)). I say this because that is how they sample the wage stats, these girls are the only ones collecting the info, they got their budget wacked a few years ago so are not going on new surveys, etc. I don't think it is all that important at this point, Americans don't save much compared to others, so will leave it up to you and the evil twins to figure out. -g- Regards, IS
