Ann - I think Jordan knows the situation between Bill and Hillary well enough to make this particularly revealing, if true. My sense tells me that Clinton was telling Jordan to let her down easy without having to face her, and that the "after" Jordan referred to was when the Clinton's split after his term. I just can't believe Hillary is putting up with this as gracefully as it appears. I still like the story from one of the congressmen from Texas (Armey? DeLay? I can't recall) but it went something like "if I were Bill Clinton, I'd be laying on the floor in a pool of blood looking up at my wife while she asks 'how do you reload this thing.'" Mr. K.
