Hi Gregory Mullineaux; About those derivatives.. The book "F.I.A.S.C.O" by Frank Partnoy gives a good read and is fascinating to those interested in the industry. Clearly, a bunch of mathematicians trying to steal money from each other (as Double-D said). Reminds me of the late 20s when the mutual funds could borrow money as well as buy their own stock. Each was regulated less than the hedge funds are now. (The hedge funds can't float stock offerings, I believe...) -- Carl
