REB -- point taken.

It ain't much fun being the dart board, is it? I think that's what the CNBC crew goes through each day anyway, on its own terms.

I think Ted David will be one of your readers since he's a semi-regular on this thread. I like him; a very affable guy.

My feeling is, as "long-winded" as your critique was, it beat anything else that had nothing to do with CNBC. After all, most of us are junkies.

Have a sweet weekend

Removing Joe Kernan from CNBC's cast would NOT be a positive change, IMHO. Joe's naturalness and spontaneity, with his knowledge of the market, give his reports a credibility second to none.

Sure, Joe's on-camera 'efficiency' can be tweaked, but if doing so changes his style, much rapport with the audience would have been lost.

R.E.B., if you find you need more news, I would suggest doing what a lot of folks like myself do - surf the web and listen to Squawk Box.
Given the breadth and complexity of what they're up against, it's inevitable that some stuff will always fall through the cracks. However, given their parameters, they do a terrific job.

In terms of general excellence, IMHO Squawk Box flat-out pins the needle and I wouldn't change a thing.

Good trading,

Tom
