>> hmmm, maybe I was a bit wreckless getting into HYSQ?
Still, near book value, interesting claims, and there is
that Lehman blurb I sited on the Hyseq thread. Any thoughts? <<

Only that I've considered the same two companies, and that patent claims that seem valuable sometimes *are* valuable. We have some good molecular biologists and hybridization freaks at SI..... I'd continue to bug them, including Dr. Stringency (Goodhybe). I'm certainly not the person to comment on this area.

>> Which of the genomics/bioinformatics companies does BVF own? <<

Well, AXPH sort of fits. GENE? MCDE is a stretch. George? Any thoughts?

>> Ah, so many questions (gosh, I hope that I occasionally ask
an intelligent question). <<

Hey, ask stupid ones and make the rest of us look good. Great way to make friends.

At $75 seems pricy, but lots of color pictures, mmmm Mike likes
pictures--...what the heck, made $800 trading XOMA this week,
I think I'll treat myself;-) <<

Not exactly light reading. But, if you're inclined, $75 will seem like a nickel some day, in light of profits derived from the insight.

Nice to hear that some biofreaks are again making money, Mike. I've been doing great of late with short-term call trading, but I've got tons more work to do to correct post-ASCO damage to my portfolio.
