Hi mr. bill. I'll pass on additional information as I get it. So far, this is it:

here is quote.com's definition of a filtered trade

What are filtered trades?

"Sometimes exchanges send out incorrect prices. Usually they will then send out correction
messages. We process exchange correction messages and auomatically update the chart to
reflect these changes. Sometimes, however, the exchange will not send out a correction message.
In these cases, our software automatically scans all trades (including bid and ask prices) and
makes a determination that a particular price is "bad". Rather than removing this "bad" price
entirely from the screen, we draw it in a faint yellow color on our bar charts. Many times this
"bad" price is simply a late trade that has not been marked as "late" by the exchange. "

Best wishes,

I2

More info on trade in question.

"Block piece...seller had to take less for moving such a large quantity or a market maker cleaning up a piece they had been working in smaller pieces, out of firm inventory, short, then taking in clients stock at agreed upon markup/down to cover the short and close the position.
