Anyone know how the BeardsTown Ladies are doing in this market.
Jimmy Rogers on CNBC said the FED will bail them out next, if they
get in trouble. :-)

Do the ruskies have any P&P left? that's anybody's guess - but they are well known as excellent poker players. Get your marlboro's and your visor -g-

Tale of the tape:

decisionpoint.com

we are in overbought territory for two weeks now, these are historically high readings on the oscillator, however on other overbought indicators, we are approaching overbought, but not peak readings, probably wouldn't need them for a bear rally.

A bull would say that we have broke the downtrendline and retested it today.
A bear would say that we are below the 200 dma and the 50 is about to cross on Monday, this blip above the downtrendline is a bull trap and we are overbought in a bear market rally.

I say the flash point will be the FOMC. Greeny doesn't want to incite another speculation riot and he doesn't want to let down the world markets - it's really a no win situation. I say the news whatever it is will be SOLD.

We get a technical breakout to the upside or we start the next leg down STARTing TUESDAY!

Marke you calendars September 29, 1998.

GOLD & XAU.

I would really like to see XAU hold 72 on Monday and Tuesday and break the downtrendline off October/April peaks which comes in @79 next week - After that the next stop is 96.
