It seems like there's a concerted effort to make sure AAPL finishes the trading day in positive territory. For the last four days (I think), if AAPL is down within the last hour of trading, strong buying comes in to push the price up for at least a small gain.

Today's activity was even more dramatic, since AAPL was down 1/8 until the last 15 minutes of trading when the buying kicked in again to prop it up for a 1/4 point gain.

Has anyone else noticed this? It's making me wonder if that "offshore purchasing" of AAPL mentioned by Apple Recon might actually be true. Nothing better than small, fractional gains day after day to increase the value without drawing too much attention.
