Dear Mad2,
In response to your request to hear from the lurkers regarding the short numbers...
One thing that is obvious from the decline: PRst has been a victim of a LONG SQUEEZE. The longs have been obviously selling faster than the shorts have been covering! Hence the decline from $41 to $8. Why should this not continue?
For the hapless shorts who based their investment decisions on the touts' cry of "short squeeze!" who continue to look at these short interest numbers with hope ...Please note that the Dollar Amount short has dwindled to a paltry $30 million dollar [ 3.7 mil shares short times $8 per share] down from $238 million in Sep '97! This could continue to dwindle to nothing. Sorry longs!
