1. will more than likely be around when the tide turns. i understand this release to essentially mean that intel will subsidize losses to keep dram low. mu gets their equipment and is in excellent position when the tide turns.

2. this accelerates the game. mu will put massive pressure on the korean fabs and they don't keep a straight face. they've blinked too many times. if they fold...

3. the hype value will be nonstop.

it increases intc income statement while reducing its balance sheet. but, nobody reads the balance sheet anymore. all you need to look at is eps. they appear to be buying their eps. intc must have been scared sh*tless when dell said he'd pass on higher prices. ;-)
