Well that was a hell of a good show. My Lord what plans these folks have. I have transcribed some notes for the "Real Audio" impaired. As entertainment for those that have been following this stock it is quite a revelation to hear. I recommend hearing it if you can.: Sylver and Loricchio met while they were travelling the world promoting their asphalt treatment that provides a durable covering for asphalt that lasts 30 years. Sylver said that it was a company that started in 1988. (Funny that they didn't incorporate until 1994.) They have offices in Brazil, Las Vegas, Toronto and soon in Australia. (Wow. This is news.) Sylver claims that these products have been tested for eight years. (Another funny thing to say for a company that was formed in December of 1996.) He is still planning his 1 million a month of catalogue shipments. They are producing a web site that he expects will win every website design award for 1999. It is going to feature an ask the Indian, hosted by a real Amazon Indian, who is going to answer live to an audience of 15,000,000 and be simulcast in 17 different languages. (That is one heck of an Indian, I will have to admit that will be able to speak all those languages.) The Indian will be the host of the site. They will also have a pay site. (this is a little sketchy even after relistening to it.) It seems that they will have a Rock Concert that they will throw somewhere in the Amazon. Michael and Domingos will both sponsor it and present themselves with some kind of award or medal. The Bands that participate will cut a CD. There will be a Plant a Tree program that you can send money to have a tree planted in the Amazon. (I wonder if they will be TON Trees?) When you send in your money you will get the Rock CD and some VR gear that will put you right in the Amazon. You will be able to take a canoe trip with the Indian up the Amazon. You will be able to get off in various points along the way. The Indian will be your guide and give you commentary in this Virtual Space. (I can't wait.) There will also be a live camera mounted on a tower somewhere in the Amazon. It will be joy stick controllable over the net. You will be able to zoom in and watch army ants at work, or watch monkeys swinging in the trees. (Some camera, I would say.) At first he said they would be in 2000 retail stores. Candico, Candy-Candy, and Broadway Treats and this new chain deal that was just announced. Domingos then talked about their special license - political/military deal. There is an arrangement with a Colonel in the Army - no names given, you know how the military is. (Yeah, they evidently don't have names there.) This arrangement gives them "permission to explore, explore in a good way," all the plants and trees in the Amazon. (It has occurred to me that it is Loricchio's difficult English that must have said Explore, not Export. Yeah, right.) He then went on to relate something fantastic: That there are sometimes different species of the same plant there. (Yes, I replayed this part again. Loricchio is apparently a one man botanical wrecking crew when it comes to classifying plants.) The subject turned to financing. Sylver disclosed that they have been raising funds through private placements. They are also talking to a group of mortgage brokers for underwriting. (I played that again, as I thought the wax in my ears must be thickening once more.) Sylver says that they have primarily been selling to Doctors and Chiropractors. (Well he does have a distribution agreement with a Chiropractor.) Then in his enthusiasm Sylver said that they would be in 2500 retail stores by the end of October. (Forgetting that he had just said 2000 stores, 10 minutes before. Or else whilst they were talking he closed on another 500 stores.) Then Loricchio talked about his involvement with the International Council for the Advancement of Natural Supplements (ICANS). They will lobby to moralize the business of natural supplements. (Is the fox in the hen house here?) Finally they are working with Rhodia (sp?) to provide Guanara in a colloidal state treated with plasma water. Woo woo. I don't even want to think about what that means. Then mercifully the time was up.
