William, According to Roger McNamee from Integral Partners, that is exactly the case. He was interviewed on CNBC after the close today, and when asked about the rumor, he said it wouldn't surprise him since MU has been reluctant to embrace the RMBS standard, and as such it is in INTC's best interest to make sure that they advance it. If all the memory companies are fully on board the RMBS standard, and with INTC obviously pushing it hard, RMBS will have a huge entrenched advantage.Regardless of how you feel about the business practices of INTC, this is great news for RMBS shareholders.
