While in the area, another Canadian Company with good news this week was Visible Genetics (VGINF)(on Nasdaq) biz.yahoo.com Unfortunately when I have actually owned VGINF stock it has always gone down and when I don't it goes up! Right now I don't. VGINF is in diagnostic assays, not therapeutics and is selling products. I believe it could be a candidate for being acquired in a year or so when it is likely to finally get profitable. My first guess would be by Amersham, which I believe still owns a part of the company. Amersham recently announced plans to acquire Molecular Dynamics and is selling some of the VGINF instrumentation and I believe kits for the research market.
