I don't mean to pick hairs, but QCOM went ex-dividend on 9/23/98, spinning off its wireless infrastructure division and issuing 1 share of the new company (LWIN), for every 4 shares of QCOM. LWIN closed at 7 25/32 on Friday, so an investment in QCOM a week ago resulted in a 10.2% profit.

Thanks to everyone on this thread. I've gotten a lot of useful trading ideas from reading this thread.
