David, Not once have I made a direct attack against anybody. I have never said "you are an idiot" or "you are a wife beater." I have sometimes said "that argument sucks." I have also sometimes made little jokes that could be construed as ad hominem. I have, admittedly, gotten a little nasty when making general statements about people who make certain types of arguments and use certain tones. Those statements are never based on assumptions about individual people on these boards, but rather my own life experiences. I appreciate your criticism, however, and will do my best in the future to tone it down. I would appreciate your comments, ad hominem or not, on the following posting: Message 5846644 P.S.
