<OT> I dont like the entire enterprise software sector Mohan. In fact I shorted Sap at 50 and covered at 41, and may do it again. I dont exacly know whats wrong, if its all y2k or shortage of implementation personnel or mkt saturation/maturity or what but theres just no momentum and I doubt it will return until mid-99.

The same thing happened with the dbms engines in about March as what is happening now with the apps. Once you lose the MoMo funds, the stocks just dont move enough to be worthwhile investments. I havent owned anything in the space since early August. Of course in real terms I know that business automation is nowhere near a mature industry and since Im not quite sure whats going on I just keep watching and waiting. You can get some good info on the psft thread btw.
