With PCs just going up with mHz and no real appls except digital photography to drive it, I won't be surprised that DVD, together with digital cameras, will be the "in" thing for this X'mas. DVD definitely the next format. I hope that LSI compete in DVD drives too and not just DVD players. If they do, and they have the yields competible to TSMC/UMC, they fill Gresham pronto. Looking at the posts concerning Cirus, looks like part of the problem is products, part of the problem are yields from the fabs. I hope LSI realizes that they need to compete not only in design/IP, but also in manufacturing for the next round. patrick
