A Windy BAMBI Update

We got a seriously bullish BAMBI. The reading for this week is 23 to 7 bullish. This is a powerfully bullish reading. Three stocks gave weekly bullish signals - CHV, IBM and IP. One stock gave a weekly bearish signal - EK.

The DJIA continued to underperform the Index. In fact, only 10 of the DJIA stocks beat the Index, which is not bullish. But, the DJIA "6-2" club is significant: DD, JPM, MMM, CAT, GE, UTX, GT, UK, DIS, TRV, HWP, and BA. In other words, 13 DJIA stocks have a weekly trend that is bearish but possibly turning bullish. I show only 5 stocks are in clearly bearish trends including all three of the retailers.

This market clearly has the wind at its back. No matter how I draw my lines on the Index daily trend, we are in a break-out mode. The DJIA trend is not there yet and many of the "6-2" club are at significant resistance levels. If Mr. G & Co doesn't throw water on the parade, this coming week could be a really good week.

BWDIK and all other disclaimers.

Enjoy!

Steve, I read your post on the tech ops thread after I acquired CMB. The delay in getting in was that I couldn't decide on CMB, JPM or TRV. As it turns out the other two would have done better, but I'm not complaining. Put CSC on your watch list. My friend got 2.8% in 10 mins. this afternoon. When this puppy moves, it moves. I believe the downgrade today was so that someone could pick up some cheap shares. It's a screaming buy at $59.
