thanh, ya know, i don't know. $40 is easily possible. does kurlack use this opportunity to say "holy cow batman, i hated mu! but now, the intel god smiled on them and i predict $60 soon?" if he does he would just add fuel to the fire.

$90 is a pipe dream. $50 seems a little high, too until we get strong pricing (what intel appears to guaranteeing mu never sees). notice they want them to start lehi. whoa! more capacity, baby. mu would be the master of the dram universe. the only downside is that their universe is fast approaching the big bang ;-)

does the deal never happen? destinct possibility. intel wants low dram prices. they appear to be saying, "we'll be your sugar daddy while you lose money so we can sell more microprocessors."

in other words, the accounting engineers have said, "raid the balance sheet to improve your income statement and, therefore, reported eps. the stock option scam isn't working anymore" ;-)

the thing that strikes me as strange is #1. intc appears to believe the dram turnaround hype and #2. the appear to have warm liquid in their shoe. why? i thought business over at intel was great? isn't it?

what, me worry? yeah, intel is worried. if the street expects earnings this q (and they might!) then they may be sorely disappointed.

imho, this is one to watch, not to play right now. a straddle might make some sense. ootm calls and puts. put a limit to sell the calls on a double. reload with ootm puts and calls again. repeat until rich ;-) or broke ;-(

just make sure the commish friction is small.
