I wish it were true that everyone is out for themselves. The trouble comes when people try to do good and take care of others, try to protect them from the cruel world. That's what socialism is all about. Someone else deciding what they are going to do with your money. They have a lot of good to do so they need lots of yours and none of theirs. That's called fairness.
