Also, what you wrote about index options and internuts [gd.1 ] couldn't be more true; AND, as all of us who've been there know, what you wrote about getting { first came-out as "betting" :) } someone on the phone when a fill doesn't show-up on a screen, is very impt. -- and is one of those critical stress minimizers -- OR maximizers -- at times when calm , fast-brain focus is essential. With all these good replies on Brown, and the anti-Datek PM's I've just received, I will definitely be calling Brown in Boston on Monday. Now ..... anyone with as good electric hedge-trimming advice? :) :) Thanks again.. Carol
