JP & Bruce, (OFF TOPIC)
What a day!!!!!
Giants win and put tremendous pressure on the Cubbies! Cubbies' Sammy leading off the 8th. What's his job since "Big Mac" has already hit #67??? TO GET ON BASE!!! Bingo---single, Grace--single---2 outs and a real veteran Gary Gaetti hits 2 run double. Riggleman brings in Beck (as well he should) after Mark Clark pitched 5 hit ball for 8 innings. But you know Beck always gives you an instant "heart attack". Bagwell--Bye-Bye--3-2---Alou---double---nobody out. Grounder to 2nd--1st out. Tying run on 3rd. Beck needs a strikeout or pop-up. The Big K for #2 and a tap back to the mound to win it. Holy Cow! was heard being uttered from the Heavens. Meanwhile, Back to St. Louis---"Big Mac" again ---BAAMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! # 68 in the 7th. This stuff is GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!.
