Thanks for the QNTM announcement. I had missed that. The 19GB comes in at about 5 cents a mega byte. It will be very interesting to see how long that price holds.

I also wonder how I would go about partitioning such a drive. I guess into at least 3 logical units.

Don't forget that the 6.4 GB drive for $169 is only a one platter drive. Its also worth noting that now both Fireballs and Bigfoots use HTCH TSA suspensions. Supposedly this is integral to the shock protection system Quantum is raving about and which they say reduced Fireball defects by an extraordinary 60%.
