Why does everyone think that construction can't happen in the autumn or winter months?? I come from Northern Vermont where the winter season lingers from late November to early April and there is construction happening during this time. It is best to do the digging prior to the ground freezing, and cement foundation work before its too cold, but once that is done the carpentry work can continue throughout the winter months...Does anyone know what the New Mexico climate is like from November to March months..I have been to New Mexico one time to visit with My Navajo friend but it was in June and was quite Hot!

US Government Fiscal year 99 Budget begins on October1, 1998.........HUD(Housing and Urban Development) Department is under the same Congressional Bills as (Veterans Admin. and NASA). It is expected that a continuing Resolution will be passed Before Oct. 1, to keep these programs up and Running. These Bills will be debated on later in the year and get passed as to their Budgets...HUD is the Guarantor of Government Housing loan programs...I will keep you updated as bills materialize and come to the congressional floors for debate..

During the conference call Dustan stated that the first groundbreakings would be in October. Thus not making impact on current quarter. I do not expect to see much or any revenue in the quarter ending with september. 10Q should come somewhere between 8 and 15 of november.
But, and this is important, the shareprice have proven to move on odd impact - so it's very hard to say what is the best approach.

More thoughts. I do think we would have had news if any of the other projects were started, or if the funding for the hydrophonic projects were in place.
Looking for other possible income right now - The Manitoba pilot housing projects, there are two, and the resort there - The deals are done but as we have heard nothing I expect that they are stalled on funding as well.

The above just emphasizes how important FAMC is for the group ARET.

Someone mentioned interest rates. As I see it the interest rate have no impact on FAMC revenue or earnings - FAMC processes the loan, they do not provide it - The revenue comes from the administration fees. I have tried to calculate it seems to be appx 2.5K$ per 100K$ loan processed. I tried it in one of the "cheap" mortgage companies calculator on the internet. It also fits the expected revenue stated by ARET 750K$ for the first 30MM$ processed.
